Since your last upload wasn't that good (YES I don't like it even that its part of the Rose Series!) this is a refreshing track and a new real NT tTtle. I never payed that much attention to the terminator music and I don't really recognise any melodies from the series so which is it??? The only things that really got my attention is the your beautiful aaaaaeeeeeaaaaauuuuuhuuuuu vocals and the tranc bell lead. To me the rest is common trance lol xD I can't judge on trance music cause I never reall got into the thing like im into hiphop or dnb. Buts its got variation and sounds solid... SO ITS ALRIGHT! And thats all from me ^^
Oh and the cut up vocal samles in the background later are nicely done.

the guitar really makes this stand out. also the string -ish bass (could be low guitar samples) sounds great but this whole thing needs variation and even the loop gets boring very quickly. maybe this is one track to glitch cut, turn channels on and off and rap over... i think i could still put a piano lead on this one, its not impossible, just have to pick a melody thats simple, thin and repetitive. also on top of this maybe a deep brass could do something. in my head it already works ;)

I can't disagree any less tbh. I feel that it's perfect the way it is. I was aiming for a real gritty RZA kinda feel with some sick breakage. I plan on making a track to this one, but that's when I get my shit sorted out. :3

but I think you reall got to remaster it a fourth time :/
I listened to al three versions now and fo real you never hit the nail in every new mix, you problems here are 1. a lack of sub 2. way too much high end frequencies and 3. your basic drumkit which gets drowned by the hihats
The Track would sound great even with just the hihats remastered but giving it a decent simple sub with 3osc (if you work with fl studio) would also help to keep your hats down. I cannot barely hear the drums, the kick is weak and nearly absent and the snare sounds like a punchy hat :/ also once the reese comes in the volume raises too much like the reece is too loud or the rest is too quiet. You are great on synths and your drum sequencing is good but your drum mastering need slot of work.
also i liked the intro of this v1 more than this sudden start :/
Author's Response:
i would love to remaster the drums... but ive already resampled them to be put into the fruity slicer. and the original file is gone :(
plus every time I want to hear the song I have to export it(computer too slow) and test it on multiple platforms but thx 4 the review

Thank you for using that one ;) I am done with all the renovtion here and right now I am sitting on the floor of my new flat in front of my speakers doing nothiiing. As I hit play I instantly knew I heard this once before, sounds great what you did there. It's nothing special for me compared to what I heard from you before but its allright. It lacks variation and I hope you save it for lyrics, I really think it would sound great on this piece. The Drums are alright, maybe just turn the Snare down by 5-10% and give the Kick a bit more of the 40-70Hz Section for a nice deep omph, just personal meanings.
I wanted to give a 4 but the score is so fucking low, tho its "only" a 8 this time it doesn't deserve this but w/e its just a score I will still vote it up haha, so

tru... this has some beautiful sound in it man. funk what ever this is a great piece and also a great new side of presenting your music. I still prefer your faster and rougher tracks but this one really got me later as the vocals come in, they sound incredible especially at 2:38 - I like this one part so much :,) also great drums as ususual but I like the slower parts more than the fast ones @ f/e 2:11
But also negatives in here: I can hear some clicking coming from a bad cut right @ 2:43 and 2:55, you gotta fix this and make better cuts next time. I can also reccomend using a 0,01 sec to 0,1 sec fade in on these parts
peace

All of the clipping you hear in this song comes from the drums, not the samples. They're there purposely for vintage feel. I think you of all people know that I don't leave sudden clips in my samples unless I want that vinyl effect.

THIS!!! This is >> just << what I needed to keep me up man... I bought Win7 cause of the many positive things I heard and read about it and cause I just couldn't see my damn XP anymore and things are going well so far but it's more troubleshooting and timeconsuming than I expected :/ It looks sweet and runs smooth and fast and I am pretty happy with it so far although I cannot record my stereomix anymore for now (hopefully someone finds a solution for this shit asap)
I am worried about my FL not working or some other bullshit I just got no time to deal with now. I am installing my most used apps right now and get the pc ready for transfering the backups to my harddrive (over 300gb and 86.071 files haha) and this will surely take some time so new music is always appreciated :D
NOW, let's get to business >_< The Track sounds absolutely awesome and the new mastering sounds great to me, clear and smooth but yet still with its typical crunshy spawn sound, I really don't miss the overtuned hihats or snares here. I was never a big fan of Tenchu but from what I can hear the music's got to be awesome man. I like the strings so much, they sounds really epic and sad and the beat fits great althou it lacks some variation imo. The only thing I have to mention are the harsh sample cuts at 2:01, 2:11 and 2:22 - to me the cut sounds a bit sharp, maybe use a volume autoclip on it and blend it a bit more like one step from 0 to 100 with a 100% curve, just sayin ;)
Overall this is the SHIT and I really needed a new Song man, can't thank you enough. I hope you are fine and live goes as well as it can be.
- I just finished Halo: ODST and I am planning to buy the soundtrack, I gotta show you some parts once I get a chance, it is pure epicness and for the first time ever it features a sax ;)

There is not way this could get any happier and as you said before this is just as much of you as possible. I love your style, your happiness and your super kirby -ish melodies :D It's much fun to listen to the Song and it always stays interesting and changes style a bit always delivering the typical waterflame elements we all love so much. Cheezy basslines in the background, pumping beat, happy melodies and a small orchestral touch...
awww :333 isn't he cute? I found it on the internet, can I keep it? oh pleeease

this is one fine excelent loop you made there rig :D plox keep that style for the full songs and leave some of its complexity, its just all right. well maybe making it 40sec long instead of 20 would have given you more room for changeups and some drum variation but all good so far ;)
Author's Response:
It's longer on my computer, but there's not enough variation to upload yet, lol.

... but there are many things that bother me and cost you a better score, let me start with the issues first ;)
The Hit at 0:20 sounds very common and dance -ish and really doesn't fit to the hihop elements overall. Also there are many influences from other genres but they just don't flow together... like u used hiphop hats and a slow piano + epic strings but also a guitar wich is great in melody but doesn't fit in again with the rest. Also later u used a trancy Synth Arpeggiator that goes good with the Strings but not with the Guitar and neither with the drumkit.
Nothing really wrong with the Kit except the Clap wich is super common and just dull :/ And it just doesn't come to an end dude, it's too happy and ethnic in some parts to be called RnB and too epic and trance -ish to be real HipHop its just like you threw a bunch of genres together and it's everything but nothing complete at all in the end.
I can really hear out you usually produce more Electronic Music than HipHop or RnB
Not the best Track for me

hey man, I appreciate the in depth review!
I really did try to merge the genres here experimentally, and I knew some people simply would not like it!

nice twilight zone sample man, I like your way to give your tracks some depth and meaning ;) and good you still produce from time to time, I thought you forgot your determination to feed my with music muhahahaha
the clap is so fucking sweet on this one :C and I really like the strings that go with the beatles sample, great melody, a bit sad in some points and overall very emotional
not much to say here, its quite late for me and I'm tired and too lazeyyy to do a proper review so ehh... good work... ?
