collabs ftw

the cropes family at its best lol xD the beat is phat and sounds agressive and a bit evol in some places. the snareparts keep it... different and funny sometime too but mostly charging again and firein some more vocals out of my speakers right in my face! for some reason I like liquid and spawn the most, sham is also great but arez's voice is just a tad too common and dark for my taste.

but I dun wanna hold ya down ppl, keep the mic busy

new level of sound-quality

I deffo hear a better vocal quality since you got your own booth spawn, time to get dat pen burnin >:C also kudos to the producer, thos keys are some damn fonkey and I'm diggin the guitar and the bassline!

The only thing that could have made this shit even more awesome would have been the Vocals written down in the Describtion to follow :P

The next steps gotta be to show your headset the trashcan and get a new mic, the quality is the best I heard from you so far but it still sounds a bit crushy on the high frequencies. maybe a slightly different eq could cover that a bit...

Rjd2 is the producer, that's like the dude who I look up to when it comes instrumentals. As far as the high frequencies, I kinda did that by purposely and by accident when I was mastering the vocals. I went to raise the treble and compress, and then that happened. Couldn't really figure out how to get rid of it without destroying the quality :C

not my type of sample but alright

sup ma maaan xD i love you so much for beeing experimental, I am so damn bored of standard hiphop today and you feed my endless hunger for sound every - god - damn - DAY! I am impressed how... different you always get. although I am not a big fan of indian music I will review partyless:

I hear some nice side chaining there, I just learned that myself a few weeks ago (tnx to nav for that btw) the hihats are nice n rich in content and less just rhythm based and there to keep up some tempo, nicely done. the subtile bass is freak out phat yun I quite havent even noticed it before I concentrated myself on the review. it goes nice with the rest and its very much in the beat than next to it, what is really important when it comes to flow, I guess you controll the bassline with a second muted drum sidechained on another peak controller (?)

In general when it comes to the drumkit its pretty much alright but I wanted to hear the kickdrum a tad less crunchy on the high freqs, to me it sounds more like a bad sample than a processed drum. same goes to the snare but it not that strong like the kickdrum and the snare always sounds a bit crashy but a bit more finetuning would be great to hear.

overall it lops great and catched my mind cuz I was looping it for more than 3min and didnt get bored or bothered by the indian sample.
nice work

i like your sampling

and videosgame samples only make it better :DDD you cant go wrong with that mate, good sample, good drums and great atmosphere, the asian mythic style fits great with the drumkit and you executed the song pretty good, the hihats keep up some of the tempo and ... i lost my track lol

i am not in the right mood for any detailed review now so its all GOOD :D

and a piece of cake

flashmac responds:

Thanks for the review man. I appreciate it

rig i love you

this is truly a masterpiece, i really liked trolled and this is a tru rig song for real! its magic how you juggle with sounds, like your glass experiment... i was stunned! you would be a great sound designer imo, they do nothing but recording sounds and changing them with soft and hardware for the game- and film-industry. dead space is a great example for this:

for the song: i like everything about it, i like the stereotyped beginning with the amen break, the 8bit sounds, the drumset, the idea that u used a cardboard for the bass and really DID something to create it and this is about 346 levels above software and hardware basslines for me _ol

use more experimenting, if you got a good mic (and i think you do) you have to USE it! do more of this, use different sounds, destroy your house and record it, beat your fist on a wall and modify it for a kickdrum or throw nuts at a piece of paper and you have some nice unique percussion or maybe a clap sound with more filtering. I would really like to hear more of this from you :D

Rig responds:

I recorded a bunch more sounds at the same time as that cardboard clip...maybe I'll remake this song and use some of them. :)

msn clip xD

im pretty sure u showed me the beginning on msn ;) really nice choirs you got there. did u use the same sample in the second part for the bassline? sounds like you cut it into 1sec or less pieces and pitched it down. also the metalish sounds are great and i really like the way you change thing while making hiphop. I am trying myself to get some fresh and different sound into the hiphop ap (it really begins to bore me how common the tracks get here) but my last try combining hiphop and drum n bass ended up in an industrial piece (actually just what hiphop + dnb is imo) and i really gone to hard on it i guess. but im working on something new right now that ill release in a few days. boy u gonna digg this

the slow tempo and the bassline make this track sound really strange with the vox sample and the metal sounds in the background. but its unique and different and thats good for me so keep it interesting pal

simple but... ok?

Ahhh exams... buddy me too, its not as hard as you might think first. I did it once before and I already know whats its gonna be like :) Keep it clear and do your damn HOMEWORK!!! Then thing will go fine, tell me how u did on msn will ya?

Songs decent I think, I not a big Techno-Fan although my close minded friends call me a Techno-Freak cuz I listen to DnB (damn you its no techno!) I like the kick drum the most on the beat and the clicky sound behind it. I looped it about 7 times now and the reese is driving me nuts...

still a good 8/10 loop for me

really cool shit

real tune brother! I like the beginning, it sounds a bit like Yun or Spawns work ;) I am really into this type of HipHop n like the sound much more then the newer stuff the bring at the radio... sadly the world will never play things like this on public. cool shit, diggin the dirt and the kickdrum most... WOHA nice ending xDD

Sirhc7000 responds:

I'm actually a big fan of Yun and Spawn's work but my real influence is the late, great J Dilla along with many other samplers today.

Thx! and I'm glad the ending shocked u lol.

hella koto dude

first i thought, oh kyle makes classic agaon, well its never just pure classic when its a kyle of azjed thing so CHECK IT OUT! and i did and whoa i like it first but at 0:45 i fucking loved it damn, the koto kicks ass, I need that one dudde so toss it over or ill cook your hands and eat them..... yah..... so the koto melody is supersimple and its just fast notes but boa this shit kicks ass! nice bass too, maybe a bit too quiet and not enough under the 100hz for me but ok and maybe change the drums a bit ;) maybe ill come up with something new soon peace

K-Dm responds:

the "koto" is actually a shamisen from the east west colossus plugin

thur actually is a koto in this song but its very in the bg so u probly didnt even notice it lol

neways thx for the review

well done b

I had to lower my volume first because my sub was going whooo at the beginning xD The first 50 second where pretty repetitive and I thought thig goes nowhere first but its an 1nf1ltr8or dammit! Then at 0:53 the beautiful new synth came in, it reminds me in the typical metroid feeling :3 And the synth at 1:19 that sounds like a wood block first and gets to a plunky one is also nica although I like the earlier sound more then the trance -ish. The Piano at 2:38 is also quite nice and calm, maybe a bit fast at the melody but all good and the lead in to the new wave -ish feeling around 4min is well done. But the Piano gets repetitive after a while especially after 3 minutes running.
