[Rig - Am I Cool Yet?]

this is truly a masterpiece, i really liked trolled and this is a tru rig song for real! its magic how you juggle with sounds, like your glass experiment... i was stunned! you would be a great sound designer imo, they do nothing but recording sounds and changing them with soft and hardware for the game- and film-industry. dead space is a great example for this:

for the song: i like everything about it, i like the stereotyped beginning with the amen break, the 8bit sounds, the drumset, the idea that u used a cardboard for the bass and really DID something to create it and this is about 346 levels above software and hardware basslines for me _ol

use more experimenting, if you got a good mic (and i think you do) you have to USE it! do more of this, use different sounds, destroy your house and record it, beat your fist on a wall and modify it for a kickdrum or throw nuts at a piece of paper and you have some nice unique percussion or maybe a clap sound with more filtering. I would really like to hear more of this from you :D

real tune brother! I like the beginning, it sounds a bit like Yun or Spawns work ;) I am really into this type of HipHop n like the sound much more then the newer stuff the bring at the radio... sadly the world will never play things like this on public. cool shit, diggin the dirt and the kickdrum most... WOHA nice ending xDD

I'm actually a big fan of Yun and Spawn's work but my real influence is the late, great J Dilla along with many other samplers today.

hella koto dude

first i thought, oh kyle makes classic agaon, well its never just pure classic when its a kyle of azjed thing so CHECK IT OUT! and i did and whoa i like it first but at 0:45 i fucking loved it damn, the koto kicks ass, I need that one dudde so toss it over or ill cook your hands and eat them..... yah..... so the koto melody is supersimple and its just fast notes but boa this shit kicks ass! nice bass too, maybe a bit too quiet and not enough under the 100hz for me but ok and maybe change the drums a bit ;) maybe ill come up with something new soon peace

the "koto" is actually a shamisen from the east west colossus plugin

thur actually is a koto in this song but its very in the bg so u probly didnt even notice it lol

Missing the Rose a bit

Ok I listened the full Song now (wasn't sure about to review while listening to catch the feelings without thinking lol) Great Guitar Melody and Sound (less is often more) its going its way to 0:59 choir effect where the track really catched my interest the first time (missing the 'Rose' -feeling abit for now) Anyway the 1:21 Synth is cool but... arr, it haunts me dammit, its a bit 'plain' I think...

I thought we were having some serious business at 2:47 when the Rose-Guitar comes in finally JUST TO DISSAPPEAR again naahhh I wanted some more :,( The second mellow Melody at 2:56 it awesome btw. Overall it was more a new Trance Song for me then a Trance Remix of 'Rose at Midnight' and if you haven't mentioned it before I wouldn't have even noticed it (oh complex time forms for my lacky english) I was expecting much more 'Rose' here *sniff*

Its a cool mellow Trance Song to hang around on the couch and doing absoutely nothing ;D I started bobbing my head left and right and my left Leg was moving a bit unintentional so I still guess you made something right...

Yep.. the Rose comes and goes, I can't really fill 6 minutes (or 4) with that melody alone.. if you listen close you hear I made a ton of small variations on it during the song to remove as much repetition as I could. XD Midnight wasn't a very long song at all and the guitar melody only played in the beginning for like 20 seconds! :O

But I liked the melody enough to do something different with it. :)

You really kinda superhappy and "yeyhhhhhh" *kids running around screamin* I really didnt expect you to be back in just a week after Ctrl.Mind but EYH... here u are with some new happy tunes and I like the sounding and the BASSLINE!!!! FU to everyone who doesnt like it cuz u overuse, WOH CARES if it sounds great eh?

The first 10sec were kinda oh whats this eh, what will he come up with? but the the nasty videogame synth came in and gaaawd the bassline is so fancy and tasty for my ears :333 the violin/orchestralz are also great executed and go right with the feeling you want to display. Only the choirs are a BIT too much on the epic side and with the strings and the rest and its getting kinda overwhelming and it ovrtunes the videogame aspects imo.

glad youre a follower of my beloved bassline, but not to worry, i wont be making anyhting around it for a while.. altho ive had some crazy ideas of mixing orange, jumper and superfunky into a funky jumping orange. wich is fully possible since they share almost the same bassline and all 3 songs work in the waltstime signature. well 2 of them.. anyways!

Gorillaz do Dance?!

WTF!? Is this just a Dance Version of a Gorillaz Track or a remade Original? Well 50% of the Song are only buildp (pretty |V|4$51v3 buildup btw) I like the first half minute more than the rest tbh, maybe thats just cuz Im not a big fanboi of Dance but EYH man do ur thing, I like the intro so just keep going... but beef up the later part a bit eh?

oh snaps!

I expected this to be way different at all! the "blown bottle synth" at the beginning gives alot of BG Atmosphere to it and your new drums made me OMG, like the kick f/e has a nice punch on it. Maybe use some subbase after the kickdrum for backups, the hook synth is great and it rminds me of an old game I played ages ago, whats that synth from eh? and y fdont u got your old plugins anymore?!? i can send u some over next time when u get online ;) got some new things here u might like

ya this was a really experimental track but im glad u liked it

the hook synth is from a plugin called "Blue" and the synth itself is called "CrossFusion Groove X"

and i lost all my old plugins when i got my new computer... i probly have them lying around somewhere but im too lazy to look for them and then reinstall all of them too...

but its all good cuz i just got East West Colossus =)

the huge ass library of sounds it comes with should be enuf for me for now haha

great sounding with some issues

wow great mixture of traditional videogame synths and modern sounds, at first i thought it was an ambient track but the the (kinda overpowered) choirs came in and the SNES (!!!) synth and the brass kicked in and I was "aaaaahhhhh, good old times :333 ... I miss you :,( "

great vg style and melodies overall but some of the sounds dont fit right to the rest of the great parts. I like the 8bit-ish the most and the bells go well with it, but the choir just comes too unexpected and its too loud, same for the (Preset) Bell @ 1:53

Its a shame it ended up like this, I wish you would have gone more on the calm Pads and the VG Style, the rest just ruins it for me. Great Parts that scream to get downloaded and thrown on my iPod but the Choirs and the outstanding Bell just kills it.... sad face
wanna do a rearrangement? It's still got potential
