Cool :)

The Drumline farly reminds me in -Control: Crowd- a bit, but it is not that varying then your other Songs. You said that this is only a cutted Version so I can't say it is repetitive at all but from what I can hear in this Version it is... Dunno what comes after 3:13 - but it loops good and it fits good in a Future Racer like Wipeout I think.

For me personaly this is still just a small filler... I heard -Crowd- and it was superb. I expected the same quality from -Damage- and it got exceeded. So I think -Mind- is going to crown all previous Control-Tracks, even the title sounds like a -Mind- blowning experience XD

You did the impossible! '\^o^/'

You actually made the Impossible... well possible! You took my favorite Song from you and made it more incedible, anyhow! More electronic, more personal, more epic, more longer, more kickass, more MORE! But let me stop flooding you with compliments ^^ Let me get on the Details:

- You used some new Snares in the Beginning and the later middle Part
- SUperb backupping Choirs in the Beginning and later Parts
- I can hear a new electronic Synth in the BG from 1:19 to 1:36
- I love the Break from 2:02 to 2:16, very cool variety style here
- New rare Volin from 2:16 to 3:08
- Personal Style from 5:18 to 5:45 then still Personal but mixed up with CV Piano
- Pause at 6:37 and Snare/Drum Roll is sooo cool

One thing that won't leave me is the new Snare, its cool but... it's a so noticable and different sound you hear it immediately and it feels abit "forced" to mee =__= I wanted to hear it introduced in the normal Snare/Drum Rool you use at the end of a Part. That would have been kinda more well... "watch out here it comes" - friendlier too me ^^ But I'm always expecting such things anyhow...

It's cool you brought in your personal Style at the End, it fits great an is not that far different from the Main Theme but still as much to count as different as well. And it's good you haven't deleted you original... HEY nearly 20.000 People listened to this Piece and if things are going well you could land a weekly best for this one too! You got my 5 and my best wishes! You did a superb job in remaking CoT - You are the love of my live <3 (in the digital way of course!) XD

Btw, I achieved a huge Success, prepare for PM ^^

NemesisTheory responds:

Wowie, big review!

Well if you relisten to castle of tears, could you still say it is perfect?
there honestly were a lot of things wrong with it lol XD

there actually isn't a new snare lol (aside from the beginning), the audio was just cleared up that everything sounded more.. well, clear! it's pretty amazing what EQing can do :D

i would have deleted the original or updated it but I can't since people used it in flashes :)

I'm glad you like this version of CoT, and lol, that's pretty sweet of you to say :D

Did you send that PM yet? I've been busy for so long...
I'll try to find it!

Thanks for the review, Aera. :)

Sry not this time :/

You did good but I listened to both now and I must say Bill is better man! I like your Synth more from sounding so at least you won this for me. But you need to get better on the Mic, less bitchassfaggot offending and more word killing u feel me? Worst mistake was the empty part 1:22 to 1:52 (?) Dude that was a whole part! You could have brough some mor here, your first run was about 27sec and there was enough space to bring a second hit! Bill had much more so he earned his win.
Sry man...

aztec1448 responds:

did u here tha other one

Successfully revived !

MAN! The Choirs are nearly incredible, I like how they vibrate in long constant phases :D The Violins also work good with Choirs and got the whole thing very orchestral. The Drums are really cool and sonded a bit oldskool flavored while the quieter Hats in BG kept the tempo up. Good thing you looped the Parts in different ways and included Breaks as well. Otherwise it would have sounded very repetitive I guess. So where are the rapper now !? :D

war-spawn responds:

I was gonna have someone rap on this. The dumb ass did something stupid as hell to my family, so yeah, I lost contact with him. lol Thanks for the review ^_^

You are fired!

Haha! Man that was cool! Cool oldskool Beat, cool and fun Story and you took a high Risk in submitting this thing. But it payed off, it was very original man, you really entertained me :D

Scribbler responds:

Thank you. I know, this is very experimental and I don't think anyone (or at least not many people) has done anything like this so I thought, why not? I loved the idea and went through with it. I am glad you enjoy it.

1 - 2 - 1 - 2 'shun!

I vote 8.......... ok I go into further details: I don't like military ish Music.......... that's the point, not your fault Kyle. It's a personal thing, I still try to leave some constructive words. The Melody is very cool and epic (thank you Shek ^^) and the crashes make it only sound more that style. So this is good! My favorite Part is @ 2:01 when it gets to the pure melodic feeling :D The Beat is slow but still good at all, cool drums, nothing wrong with it at all, except the military parts from 0:21 - 0:39 and 1:24 - 2:01 (IT'S PERSONAL!) I thought about a Tribute to (dunno yet) too ;)

In fact it was a remake I compare it to the original... I like shekel's more :/ More powerfull, less military style... did I said that it's personal ?

No fav... :sniff:

K-Dm responds:

So underwater ish

Ohhh this is so relaxing and underwater sounding at the beginning :O What that bell like Instrument you made the first sound of? It's incredible! I can feel the ship slowly sinking down to the floods and the ocean taking it away... So sad, so reflective that melody starting at 2:02 Later it goes its way at 3:45 and we all know now, there is no hope anymore :,( The time to take leave has come... Everything is lost now... forever... and the only thing that remains, is a vanishing memory ,__, Simply beautiful

Semaphore responds:

the bell at the beginning in FL8 is called pad - nautilus =)

the main instrument is organ - dream

I changed both a little bit in the configuration

thanks AeraDynamic for your amazing inspirationally review =)

and I still work on the song for your project ;)

Flawless work

Never heard that style Mack, it's pretty cool and calming at the beginning and keeps this way even with that many sounds. It's melodic, kickass drumwork and beautiful piano play :D

Goods:
- Drums are badass
- Pianoplay is beautiful
- Pling ish Percussion sounds very unique
- Strings flow right with the Piano
- No repetitive parts, sounds well varied

Bads:
You need to get rid of the damn Snareroll at 0:19 and 1:22 I heard it SO often in SO many Tracks I just can't take it any longer. It's always: Intro - Roll - Verse etc We can do better these days :/ 1:01 sounds much better but still has same kind of structure. Try some different Roll styles, maybe a break ish mix of snare, clap and drum like some DnB Artists use to make. With HipHop sounds it work good too ;)

Aera

flashmac responds:

wow nice review man. About the snare roll, I know what you mean, but I'm not very good at making them lol. Whenever I try something different it just sounds messy. I guess it's something I should practice with haha. Glad you liked it though and thanks for the review man, I apperciate it.

Cool n Creepy

COOL! I like original Songs, I never heard the melody at the beginning, the bells are pretty cool and give the Track a creepy feeling. The Beat is ot to fast n' heavy which is a good choice too in my opinion. I like fast DnB Tracks but some smoother Tracks are always welcome. The Reese is awesome! It works perfect with the Synth. I listened to some of your Tracks in the DnB Section before I registered, now you gt my fav for shure :D

boney-man responds:

wow, thanks!

It's... JAZZ

It seems you master any Genre you get to :D It's HipHop and still has the smooth jazzy feelin in it, the Bass keeps it in line and connects the Genres pretty good I think. Lets listen..... uuuhhhuuuuuu..... so satisfying *feels like a fur ruffled cat*

It's... smooth and... lazy... it's jazz... AWESOME! :O

K-Dm responds:

LOL thx

glad u liked it

well i like experimenting with different genres cuz i find its pretty ez to mesh pretty much anything into hip hop lol

ive wanted to do rock/hiphop for the longest time but i lack the equipment =(

altho ive threw in electric guitars in some of my songs they were only good enuf quality to be used as bg instruments lol

neways ill be sure to keep experimenting
